The French aperitif isn't a drink. It's an hour — the one that belongs to no meal in particular, when the day hasn't ended and the evening hasn't begun.
Summer Solstice is a book that lives in that hour: stories, anecdotes and recipes compiled around the ritual of l'apéro. The editorial design had to feel like the light it describes — warm, unhurried, with enough room for a long conversation.
